Am I truly gifted? Is the Shamanic Path really for me?
Rarely is someone called to the Shamanic path who isn’t meant to be on it. For some it is for personal healing, for others it is to be a fully realized spiritual guide. You’ve been through something that others need help with, that is part of the call. Like how I went through my initiation. Besides that, I also have a life of working with my gifts. And I have my own trauma like being bullied, sexual abuse, and depression.
For most shamans they are naturally gifted, but they still must learn from others. It is how it works. You don’t learn through the head and books but through experience from other shamans.
And almost anyone can learn. These gifts are part of being human. Some people are naturally gifted, but if your desire is there, if you are committed then the question is less about is this for me and it is more about it being a decision and then acting.
