What is a spirit animal?
Each of us has at least one spirit animal. Some stay with us for life, and others help through certain situations and periods of life. Each animal has their own unique gifts and strengths to help us overcome and excel in life peacefully. When you find your spirit animal and it shows itself to you. It’s urging you to take a moment to focus and reflect on the lesson you’re going through in life. Sometimes the spirit animal comes to you through patterns, messages, and themes.
What is a power animal?
A powerful animal is a strong spirit that is with you at birth and at times to the very end. They chose to be one with you from the very beginning. That is why it is often said that you hold the same similarities as your power animal in character and personality. Power animals can be called upon during a challenging moment in your life to give you courage and strength or show you a place where you could grow.
How does a spirit animal make itself known?
You can find your spirit animal in various ways that include:

The butterfly is a symbol of transformation and development. It is incredibly adaptable and approaches all changes with ease and grace.
Cat
The cat symbolizes curiosity, adventure, and independence. It has also mastered the art of patience.
Deer
The deer is a sensitive, highly intuitive spirit guide. It strikes a balance between confidence and success and gentleness and grace.
Dove
The dove represents peace, blessings, and new beginnings. It is a hopeful spirit animal.
Dolphin
The dolphin spirit guide represents playfulness and wisdom. It is a master communicator and unifier.
Elephant
The elephant (my spirit animal) symbolizes wisdom, gentleness, and spiritual understanding.

What Do You Do with Your Power Animal?
Finding your power animal is a magical journey. What do you do once you have that figured out? The most important thing you can do is to build a relationship with that animal. Do your research and figure out everything you can about its physical and spiritual definition and meaning. If you are able it could also be helpful to spend some time with the physical animal itself. If your power animal is mythical, for example, a unicorn, spend your time doing as much research on any myths or stories relating to the animal.
